Bayern denied reports of talks with Rodri
Christian Falk: 'I asked Bayern bosses about reports claiming that Bayern made contact with Rodri - and they said no – there were no talks. They didn’t knock on the door of Rodri’s camp. He’s a very interesting player, but they don’t need him in the position. He’s also still very expensive (..) There was an interest from Bayern a long time ago in 2019, but back then there was no money left to get him after FC Bayern instead moved for Lucas Hernández. As for this summer, it's simply not possible for them to engage with. His likely route is a return to Spain'

Aston Villa are still showing interest in Palhinha
Aston Villa are still showing strong interest in João Palhinha. The clubs have so far been unable to reach an agreement over the terms of a transfer. Bayern are demanding around €25m, deemed too much by Villa. Friday's friendly between the two teams will offer them a chance to negotiate face to face. Even though Palhinha said that he wanted to fight for his place at Bayern, his entourage is still listening to offers. If he sees no prospect of fair treatment and sporting competition at Bayern, Palhinha would be willing to leave, provided he receives a convincing offer
