Our read
3,660 minutes last season, 67.8 percent of everything available, which is a lot for a goalkeeper in a transition year. The Bundesliga column explains itself once you look twice: 22 starts but only 1,860 minutes, because he came off during games more than once with muscular problems. At 40, in what is likely his last season, the question is not whether he is still good enough. It is whether the club hands minutes to Urbig by plan, or waits until an injury does it for them.

Manuel Neuer is planning to go into the final season of his career and retire next summer. From the goalkeeper's entourage, it is said that last season was the season Neuer enjoyed the most in his career. He does not regret his national team comeback either. The captain decided to continue this season because he feels there's a big chance of crowning his career with winning another Champions League title
