Visiting this website

This website is hosted by Cloudflare Germany GmbH and/or Cloudflare, Inc. When you visit it, technically necessary data is processed: IP address, date and time of access, the page requested, the amount of data transferred, and information about your browser and operating system. This processing is required to deliver the site and keep it secure. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, the legitimate interest in a secure and functioning service.

Cloudflare also operates servers outside the EU. This transfer relies on the Standard Contractual Clauses of the European Commission.

Traffic measurement

No analytics tool is embedded on this site. Visit counts are derived only from the server data that is generated at the host anyway. There is no analysis of individual behaviour, no profiles are built, and no data is passed to third parties for advertising purposes.

Cookies

This website does not set cookies. The choice between light and dark display is stored locally in your browser and is never transmitted to the server. There is therefore no cookie banner.

Fonts

The fonts used are served from this server. No fonts are loaded from external providers, in particular not from Google Fonts. Visiting this site therefore does not transmit your IP address to any third party for font delivery.

Contact by email

If you write to us by email, your details are stored to process your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Email is handled through Google Mail (Gmail), operated by Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC. Where this involves a transfer of data outside the EU, it relies on the Standard Contractual Clauses. Your data is deleted once it is no longer needed.

Contact form

This website also offers a contact form as a second, direct way to reach us. When you use it, your name, email address, and message are sent to Forminit, a form processing service that receives your submission and forwards it to us. Forminit's infrastructure for this is hosted within the EU (AWS, Ireland), so no transfer to a third country takes place for this processing step. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in offering a working contact channel without publishing a personal phone number, or Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your message relates to a request you have made. We aim to respond within 24 hours. Your data is deleted once it is no longer needed.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and the right to object to processing (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR). You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
